Whoa

I just want to start this off by saying that God has so totally released the Holy Spirit in this place that it is ridiculous. Last Friday I was involved in a Holy Spirit mosh pit. Everyone was slain in the spirit and the Spirit was relentless in encountering people. There were about 300-350 people in the front of the room involved in it. It was amazing. Best pit ever!

However, tonight there was a pit that was just as cool. Although there were some children in the previous pit, there was one tonight that broke out that was mainly children. Probably 50-75 children were getting slain in the spirit and praying for other to be encountered at the same time. It was NUTS!

I cannot do these events justice by explaining them..... but I want to just say that there are a ton of AWESOME things going on here.


I am almost done with my sound training here. The last step to take before the approval test is to run a couple of sets under supervision. I am running the Cory Asbury sets on Monday nights for a week or maybe two (Cory still needs to OK this).

Also, I have never been so hungry for the word in my life. When I first got here I was told that we had to read 7 chapters a day in the word. I thought that was a ton. However, I now find myself wanting to do it. I love reading the bible. And since I have no TV I find myself reading more books too. If I am not careful, I might actually learn to read better....

Work Groups and such

We started work groups today..... which is basically an assignment where I am "forced" to do physical labor...... If you know me at all, that is something I do voluntarily. I am working at a garden/ 98 acres of woods. I get to chop/saw/drive machinery/mow.... amidst other things. I love it.

Otherwise, I am really starting to see myself living down here long term. I can really see how God wants me to use my skills and abilities to further the kingdom here. Also, if you know about the prophetic history of IHOP, you will know that it is supposed to get an influx of people like never before (thousands of people showing up "overnight"). This also corolates to IHOP building a new 5000 seat prayer room (and several other breakout rooms attached). Meaning more technology and support. Also, this means that the conferences here will be getting bigger. I heard a rumor that ONETHING Conference is prophecied to end up in the Arrowhead Stadium (70,000 seats).... crazy right? Also, right up my alley and I love it!


I am SO excited to see where God puts me....

First month..... whoa!

So I officially made the one month mark...... and let me tell you guys..... this is SO intense! I canot put into words the things that are happening here. But let me try. My core group leader (an intense small group) got woken up in the middle of the night from the Lord and had a number pressed ointo his heart. 6616, and the word gutters..... weird I know. So he turned to Isiah 66:16. "FOr by fire and by His sword, The Lord will judge all flesh, And the slain of the Lord wil be many". To go with this, the word gutters. And water cannot flow through clogged gutters same as the Lord will not encounter you as heavily if there are areas in your life that He does not have.

So, we had an early morning meeting in which every guy in the group confessed his most shameful acts/thoughts. Intense does not describe that meeting. However, after that meeting we were washed in the blood of Christ and the weight that the enemy had on me vanished. It was as if a (pardon the cliche) huge weight had been lifted. I felt as if God now had complete control over me and would start to use me as a vessell to do things for the body of Christ that no other could.

No one else can love God the way that I do. Meaning that I (and you) posess gifts and traits specific to me (you) that He wants to use as a way to worship Him.
