first 2 weeks

So I have officially been at IHOP in KC MO for 16 days now. THis internship is the most intense thing (spiritually) I have ever done! I am not kidding or being cliche when I say that it has changed my life.

When I first got here and went to the first awakening service (a service that has started recently that is Holy Spirit oriented with healing taking place, and manifestations, along with intense worship) I would have sworn that I was in a cult. There were people shaking on the floor, yeslling, crying and they all were raising their hands in worship. While I was used to some of that from N.H. Holy Spirit Conf, this was 100x more intense that that. After the first couple of services though, I can honestly say that it is totally legit. I myself have not been shaking on the floor yet (probably will at some time though), I can truthfully say that I have been healed of many past wounds and habits. It is a total lifestyle change. There is so much growth that has happened in me that I would nt be able to tell it all in this blog.

As far as what else is happening in that service (you should all watch it lie at ihop.org from 6-10 on wed-sat), all of my fellow inters have experinced some of the same things as me. Healings, manifestations, and personal growth. When people are healed they sometimes will get on stage and share theur testimony. I have heard everything from scolliosis being healed, to images of being raped when they were young dissappearing, and absolutley everything in between. Last nigh though, I heard the most powerful testimony of my entire life. A young girl (21-23) got on stage and started sharing her past. she was involved with drugs in high school. when she got out, she started strippping at a strip club, followed by starring in some adult films. When she started to get more jobs as a porno actress, she started saving money for plastic surgery (lip injections and botox I think). She had saved up enough for it, and just before whe went she was offered her own website (dont remember if she started it or not), and for some reason she came to KC and ended up in an IHOP awakening service. When she got here the Holy Spirit started working in her over the course of 3 days. Now, she has called off the surgeries, and quit the lifestly she was living, and is staying here in KC with the money she saved for the surgeries. That is one of the many, many, many testimonies I have heard here.
